Zusammenfassung
Trotz der retroperitonealen Lage hinter Magen und teilweise auch Querkolon lässt sich das Pankreas – bei Beachtung mancher Tricks – fast immer ausreichend einsehen. Die Zeichen einer akuten Pankreatitis lassen sich, auch unter Zuhilfenahme höherfrequenter Schallsonden, sicher darstellen, mögliche Komplikationen können aufgezeigt und auch im Verlauf beurteilt werden.
