Zusammenfassung

Die wesentlichen Empfehlungen der KRINKO zum Thema postoperative Wundinfektionen stammen aus dem Jahr 2007, die des britischen NICE aus dem Jahr 2008. Dieses Kapitel gibt eine Übersicht über die wichtigsten Maßnahmen zur Prävention postoperativer Wundinfektionen im Sinne eines ganzheitlichen Ansatzes zwischen Anästhesie, Chirurgie und mitbetreuenden Disziplinen.
