Zusammenfassung

Ergänzend zur Spirometrie bzw. Bodyplethymographie ist es manchmal sinnvoll, eine Bronchospasmolyse- oder Provokationstestung durchzuführen. Der Wert der Bronchospasmolysetestung liegt in der Überprüfung der Reversibilität und damit in der Differenzierung einer unklaren obstruktiven Ventilationsstörung. Aufgrund der Rückbildungstendenzen einer Obstruktion auf ein Bronchospasmolytikum kann insbesondere zwischen einem Asthma bronchiale und einer COPD unterschieden werden. Andererseits kann mittels inhalativer Provokation eine bronchiale Hyperreaktivität ermittelt werden.
