Zusammenfassung
Es wurde in den vorherigen Kapiteln bereits mehrfach betont, dass eine gute Mitarbeit bei der Lungenfunktionsprü fung bzw. die korrekte Durchfü hrung der Messung unabdingbare Voraussetzungen fü r die Validität der Messung und die Beurteilbarkeit der Ergebnisse sind. Neben der Betrachtung der Lungenfunktion in ihren einzelnen Details muss aber auch stets der Mensch als Individuum berücksichtigt werden. Die menschliche Lunge durchläuft im Leben verschiedene Phasen (Entwicklung/Wachstum, adulte Lunge, Degeneration) und erfährt zudem unterschiedliche Einflüsse (Ernährungszustand etc.), die bei der Indikationsstellung verschiedener Tests sowie bei der Beurteilung der Lungenfunktionsprüfung zu beachten sind. Die »Variable Patient« ist oftmals nicht unerheblich und soll daher im Folgenden weiter differenziert werden.
