Zusammenfassung

Indiziert ist die selektive interne Radiotherapie (SIRT) zur Palliativbehandlung primärer und sekundärer Lebertumoren, wenn:

  • die Haupttumormasse auf die Leber beschränkt

  • eine operative oder lokal ablative Therapie (z. B. Radiofrequenzablation) nicht durchführbar ist

  • die Standard-Chemotherapie zu keinem Tumoransprechen führte oder aufgrund ausgeprägter Nebenwirkungen abgesetzt wurde

Von Studienergebnissen wird abhängen, welchen Stellenwert die SIRT künftig in der stadiengerechten Erstlinientherapie ausgewählter Tumorentitäten haben kann. Bis dahin erfolgt die Indikationsstellung patientenindividuell im interdisziplinären Tumorboard. Wichtig für die Durchführung einer SIRT sind ein guter Allgemeinzustand des Patienten und eine gute Leberfunktion.
