Zusammenfassung

Komplikationen bei Tracheotomien werden im Schrifttum nach Art und Schwere unterschiedlich definiert, was die Vergleichbarkeit erschwert und Fantoni (2006) veranlasste, international vergleichbare definitive Kriterien anzumahnen. Im vorliegenden Kapitel wurden nur Arbeiten einbezogen, die ein Mindestmaß vergleichbarer Operationen der letzten 10–15 Jahre auswiesen, Metaanalysen eingeschlossen.
