Zusammenfassung
Die PECLA, auch iLA (interventional lung assist) und AVCO2R (»arteriovenous CO2 removal«) genannt, ist ein Therapieverfahren, das im Wesentlichen der extrakorporalen CO2-Elimination außerhalb der menschlichen Lunge dient. Es wird auch eine Verbesserung der Oxygenierung in begrenztem Umfang erreicht, eine ausgeprägt Hypoxie verbietet jedoch den Einsatz der PECLA.
