Mechanische Beatmung, die im Gegensatz zur invasiven Beatmung nicht über einen endotrachealen Tubus oder Tracheostoma, sondern über eine Mund- Nasen-Maske, eine Nasenmaske, eine Ganzgesichtsmaske oder mit einem Beatmungshelm erfolgt.
