Zusammenfassung

In der klinischen Praxis sind wir nicht nur mit gewollt schwangeren Frauen konfrontiert, die ihre Schwangerschaft in freudiger Erwartung austragen. Sehr häufig werden Frauen ungewollt schwanger oder möchten eine primär gewollte Schwangerschaft beenden. Diese Situationen sind derart häufig, dass ein chirurgischer Schwangerschaftsabbruch den häufigsten chirurgischen Eingriff in der Gynäkologie/Geburtshilfe darstellt.
