Zusammenfassung

Im Unterschied zur Mikrochirurgie der Gefäße, bei der der chirurgische Erfolg sofort nach der Operation mittels Durchgängigkeitsprüfung der Anastomose beurteilt werden kann, ist der definitive Erfolg in der peripheren Nervenchirurgie nicht unmittelbar nach Beendigung entweder einer primären Neuroraphie oder einer Nerventransplantation kontrollierbar. Gerade deshalb muss besonders darauf geachtet werden, dass bei der peripheren Nervenchirurgie keine wie immer gearteten Kompromisse eingegangen werden.
