Zusammenfassung
Mit Abstand die häufigste Ursache sind Entzündungen aller Art. Allen voran die chronische Bronchitis mit einer akuten Entzündung. Es bilden sich im Laufe der Jahre hyperplastisch Gefäße aus, die dann im Rahmen einer akuten Entzündung sehr vulnerabel werden und bei Hustenattacken zu blutig tingiertem Sputum führen, was auch mal kurzzeitig wie eine Hämoptoe verlaufen kann. Bronchiektasen sind heute selten, auch hier sind die entzündliche Hyperplasie und die Vulnerabilität der Gefäße ursächlich.
