Zusammenfassung
In diesem Kapitel fassen wir einige historische Marksteine, Ereignisse und damit verbundene Themen der Gruppentherapie zusammen, geordnet nach drei Epochen (1900 bis 1930, 1940 bis 1970 und 1980 bis zur Gegenwart). In vielen historischen Übersichten zur Gruppentherapie fällt auf, dass es in manchen Zeiten einzigartige Themen gab; andere Themen kehren in der Geschichte immer wieder. Wir beginnen unseren Überblick mit einer Definition von Gruppentherapie und grenzen diese damit von der bloßen Teilnahme an irgendeiner Gruppe ab. Der Überblick endet mit einigen Hinweisen für die Praxis.
