Zusammenfassung

Die moderne Endoskopie, basierend auf der Pionierarbeit von Philipp Bozzini, Maximilian Nitze und Julius Bruck, stellt eines der wichtigsten Gebiete der urologischen Diagnostik dar und dient der Inspektion von Körperhöhlen [1]. Gleichzeitig ist die diagnostische Endoskopie Voraussetzung für endourologische Manipulationen und Eingriffe. Speziell die endoskopische Beurteilung der Harnröhre und der Harnblase stellt heutzutage eine meist ambulant durchgeführte Standarduntersuchung dar und ist das am häufigsten durchgeführte endoskopische Verfahren in der Urologie.
