Zusammenfassung

Unter der endoskopischen Therapie der Harninkontinenz versteht man die transurethrale Applikation von sog. „bulking agents“ in den Sphinkter. „Bulking agents“ sind Substanzen, die massebildende, aufbauschende Eigenschaften besitzen, wenn sie in einen Hohlraum gespritzt werden. Hierzu zählen u. a. Kollagen (Contigen®), Teflon (Polytef®), autologes Fett, Polydimethylsiloxan (Macroplastique®), Knorpel, Hyaluronsäure und Dextromer (Deflux®), Kalziumhydroxylapatit (Coaptite®) Carbon, Ethylen Vinylalkohol-Copolymer (Uryx® bzw. Tegress®) und das Dextranomer/Hyalyuron-Copolymer (Zuidex®).
