Wiederherstellung der Kontinuität durch Sehnennaht. Die Sehnennaht muss stabil genug sein, um frühzeitige Bewegungsübungen zu erlauben, anderseits darf die Naht die Gleitfähigkeit der Sehne nicht beeinträchtigen und keine Vernarbungen induzieren. Kenntnisse der Anatomie, Biomechanik und Verheilungsprozesse der Beugesehnen sind für die Versorgung enorm wichtig und müssen berücksichtigt werden.
