Zu den anatomischen Strukturen im Spatium Retzii vergleiche ► Kap. 11. Im Introitus vaginae liegt ventral das Ostium externum urethrae. Lateral ziehen die Mm. bulbospongiosi, kranial davon befinden sich das Diaphragma urogenitale und der M. levator ani, die von der ca. 4–6 cm langen Urethra durchzogen werden.
