Zusammenfassung

Das Lig. carpi transversum wid laut Nomina anatomica als Retinaculum flexorum bezeichnet. Ein solches gibt es auch am Fuß. Hier wird deshalb die eindeutige, gebräuchlichere und auch im englischsprachigen Raum übliche (transverse carpal ligament) Bezeichnung verwendet.
