Zusammenfassung

Bei Brüchen des proximalen Oberarms handelt es sich um körpernahe Frakturen des Humerus, wobei man sowohl die subkapitalen Humerusfrakturen als auch isolierte Abrissfrakturen des T uberculum majus oder Tuberculum minus sowie mehrfragmentäre Frakturen des Oberarmkopfes hier zusammenfasst. Es sind im Regelfall Frakturen des älteren Menschen [1]. Aufgrund der demographischen Entwicklung ist mit einer Zunahme zu rechnen.
