Zusammenfassung
Frakturen der Hand lassen sich nicht durch eine lineare Übertragung der Prinzipien zur Behandlung langer Röhrenknochen oder großer Gelenke auf kleine Knochen und kleine Gelenke behandeln. An der Hand steht weit mehr als in anderen anatomischen Regionen die größtmögliche Weichteilschonung im Vordergrund, um die komplexe funktionelle Anatomie zu erhalten. Das Behandlungsziel ist die Wiederherstellung bzw. der Erhalt der Handfunktion. Dabei hat insbesondere die Schonung des Sehnengleitgewebes besondere Priorität gegenüber einer absolut anatomischen Rekonstruktion und einer größtmöglichen Stabilität.
