Zusammenfassung

Der Atemapparat wird funktionell in die luftleitenden Atmungsorgane und in die dem Gasaustausch dienenden Atmungsorgane unterteilt. Die Organe der Luftleitung werden nach klinischen Gesichtspunkten in die oberen Atemwege mit Nase und Rachen sowie in die unteren Atemwege mit Kehlkopf, Luftröhre und Luftröhrenästen/Bronchialbaum gegliedert. Die Organe für den Gasaustausch (äußere Atmung) sind die Lungen (Pulmones).
