Zusammenfassung

Die proximalen Femurfrakturen sind im Kindesalter äußerst selten und erfordern ein massives Trauma. Aufgrund der Gefäßversorgung des Hüftkopfes und des Schenkelhalses kommt der Verletzung hier zum Teil folgenschwere Bedeutung zu. Der Anteil der Schenkelhalsfrakturen (proximalen Femurfrakturen) liegt unter 1 % der Verletzungen der unteren Extremität.
