Nicht nur in topograpisch-beschreibender, sondern auch in diagnostisch-therapeutischer Hinsicht ist die Region des Wundrandes bedeutungsvoll.
Wundrandindispositionen sind bedeutsam für eine verzögerte p.s.-Heilung, Erhöhung des Komplikations- und Rezidivrisikos und können erheblichen Patientendyskomfort verursachen.
Die strikte Beachtung des Zustandes und die therapeutische Einwirkung in kausaler wie symptomatischer Hinsicht ist bedeutsam für eine erfolgreiche Gesamttherapie.
