Abstract
With the rapid growth of the world’s aging population, health care for the elderly has become an important issue in all countries. In order to reduce the manpower burden, reduce medical costs and improve the quality of care services, wearable devices are viewed as a solution to improve the situation. This research developed a wearable device of smart clothing, which has been used to record user physiological parameters. After uploading the original physiological parameters to the cloud server, the data will convert into a personal health report. Once the abnormal situation happened, the system will remind the caregivers immediately. This health care system has been applied to long-term care institutions and smart wards to provide care. By using this system, users can monitor self-physiological parameters and abnormal events for a long time to achieve the effect of self-health management.
