Abstract

This paper proposes a structured research for design tools from the perspective of futurology, especially the tool research that can help future scenarios, and aims to comprehensively understand the current research situation. This paper displays a framework to help summarize the current research focus, using design, futurology and tool research as the three keywords for discussion, and taking the “worldview-scenario-product” of future design as the three levels of content, carrying design process with four dimensions of “look back-insight-construction-reflection”. On this basis, this article discusses views of design future and its corresponding design methods and tools, bringing new perspectives and content to design tools.
