Vorgehen bei „Problembrüchen“ (Skrotalhernien, irreponible/inkarzerierte Hernien, Riesenhernien)

Zusammenfassung

Kontrollierte Studien über Operationsmethoden und Rezidivraten gibt es bezüglich der „Problemhernien “ nicht. Für die Versorgung von „Problemhernien “ gelten grundsätzlich dieselben Reparationsprinzipien wie für die unkomplizierten Hernien gleicher Lokalisation, wobei die Versorgung mit Kunststoffnetz der konventionellen Methode vorgezogen werden sollte, da sich damit die Rezidivrate halbiert. Endoskopische Verfahren sind besonderen Einzelfällen vorbehalten und kein Standard.
