Pflegepersonen nehmen eine SchlÜsselfunktion in der Pflege und Behandlung von Menschen mit Inkontinenz und den daraus resultierenden Folgen, wie der Inkontinenz-assoziierten Dermatitis (IAD) ein (Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario 2011). Um die IAD von anderen Hautpathologien unterscheiden zu kÖnnen, wurde das Ghent Global IAD Categorisation Tool — GLOBIAD entwickelt. Es soll international einsetzbar sein, um den Schweregrad der IAD zu beschreiben und die Dokumentation in der Pflegepraxis und Forschung zu standardisieren. …
