2. Sonographie der Frühschwangerschaft und Sonoembryologie

Zusammenfassung

Die sonographische Diagnostik in der Frühschwangerschaft vor 11 Schwangerschafts-wochen (SSW) findet meistens als erste geplante Screeninguntersuchung statt, zur Abklärung einer regelrechten vitalen intrauterinen Schwangerschaft. Kaum ein Zeitpunkt der Schwangerschaft wird so mit Freude und Angst begegnet wie die ersten Wochen einer Schwangerschaft, denn bis 15 % aller klinisch erkennbaren Schwangerschaften enden mit einem Spontanabort (Regan u. Rai 2000).
Dieses Kapitel spricht zwei Lesergruppen an: Für den klinisch tätigen Untersucher gibt das Kapitel eine Chronologie der sonographischen Entwicklung der Frühschwangerschaft und Hinweise auf ihre Fehlentwicklung. Für den Spezialisten präsentiert das Kapitel in Details die embryologische Entwicklung des Menschen, wie sie mittels moderner hochauflösender Sonographie abgebildet werden kann. Am Ende des Kapitels werden einige Beispiele von embryonalen Fehlbildungen, die vor 11 Wochen entdeckt wurden, vorgestellt.
