Zusammenfassung

Viele Anorexie-Patientinnen, die sich in Therapie begeben, profitieren von der Akutbehandlung, erreichen eine Gewichtszunahme und eine Verbesserung der Essstörungssymptomatik. Die Anorexia nervosa zeichnet sich jedoch durch ein hohes Rückfallrisiko aus. Bis zu rund der Hälfte stationär behandelter Patientinnen erleidet im ersten Jahr nach Entlassung einen Rückfall; bei ambulant behandelten Patientinnen liegen die Rückfallraten im Langzeitverlauf bei rund einem Viertel. Behandlungs- und Versorgungskonzepte, die spezifisch auf die Verhinderung von Rückfällen abzielen, können den Störungsverlauf der Anorexie verbessern. Dazu gehören abgeleitete Selbsthilfe, Psychotherapie und therapeutische Wohngruppen.
