Die Behandlung von Vorhofflimmern beinhaltet im Wesentlichen drei Aspekte: die Prävention thromboembolischer Ereignisse, die Frequenzlimitierung sowie die Wiederherstellung und Erhaltung eines Sinusrhythmus.
