9. Prävention und Therapie der Adipositas und schwangerschaftsbedingter Erkrankungen durch Sport

Zusammenfassung

Dieses Kapitel dient der Übersicht über mögliche schwangerschaftsassoziierte Erkrankungen und deren Auswirkungen auf Mutter und Kind. Dabei wird die Möglichkeit der Einflussnahme von körperlicher Aktivität auf die Risikofaktoren für schwangerschaftsassoziierte Erkrankungen bzw. innerhalb der Behandlung dieser Erkrankungen aufgezeigt. Regelmäßige körperliche Aktivität stellt eine wichtige Komponente einer gesunden Schwangerschaft dar. Frauen, die körperlich aktiv sind, zeigen eine geringere Inzidenz von Adipositas und Diabetes mellitus Typ 2 bei Mutter und Kind, eine geringere Prävalenz von Gestationsdiabetes (GDM), und sie leiden seltener an einer Präeklampsie.
