Kernaussagen

Analgesie und Narkose bei präklinischen Notfällen im Kindesalter sind eine besondere Herausforderung für den Rettungsdienst. Grund dafür ist v. a. die erforderliche Kenntnis über altersspezifische Kontraindikationen und Dosierungen der Medikamente. Man muss eine individuelle, gewichtsbezogene Dosis korrekt berechnen. Hierzu stehen Hilfsmittel zur Verfügung, die bekannt sein und genutzt werden sollten.
