2021, Journal of CardiologyCitation Excerpt :The incidence of acute coronary syndrome (ACS) increased immediately after the flood disaster, especially for UAP, and continued to increase consistently after the flood disaster. An increase in ACS has also been reported after past disasters, especially during the acute phase immediately after a disaster [3–5,8]. In our study, incidence of AMI increased only in the immediate period after the disaster, but incidence of UAP increased for periods longer than those reported previously.
