Koordination und Teamarbeit in der Akutmedizin

Zusammenfassung

Die akute Patientenversorgung erfordert in ihrem Kern interdisziplinäre Zusammenarbeit. In der Literatur zu Fragen der Patientensicherheit wird die Rolle der effektiven Teamarbeit gegenwärtig breit diskutiert. Besonders hervorgehoben wird immer wieder, dass kritische Ereignisse in der Medizin nicht auf einen Mangel an klinischer Kompetenz reduziert werden können, sondern in vielen Fällen maßgeblich auf inadäquate Zusammenarbeit im Team zurückzuführen sind. Dieser Artikel gibt einen Überblick über zentrale Konzepte der Teamforschung in Hochrisiko-Industrien und über aktuelle Forschungsarbeiten zur adaptiven Koordination in der Akutmedizin. Studien in der Anästhesie zeigen, dass Anästhesieteams Teamstruktur und Koordinationsprozesse situationsgerecht an veränderte Aufgabenanforderungen anpassen. Diese variieren je nach Narkosephase und bei kritischen Ereignissen, aber auch bei kleineren Abweichungen vom Routineverlauf. Forschungsarbeiten können zu einer Erhöhung der Patientensicherheit beitragen, indem sie über den reinen Transfer von Erkenntnissen aus anderen Hochrisiko-Industrien hinaus spezifische Empfehlungen für Trainingsmaßnahmen und Arbeitssystemgestaltung liefern.
