Abstract

One of the objectives of the EQ-net project was to find out whether there were differences in the relative valuations of health states across countries. It has been shown in chapter 7 that there is a considerable degree of agreement between health state valuations across European countries, and it was concluded that expensive and cumbersome valuation studies do not necessarily have to be carried out in each country in order to elicit VAS-based valuations for HRQoL instruments.
