Zusammenfassung

Um einen Überblick über den Forschungsstil der partizipativen Forschung zu ermöglichen, wird zunächst die Entstehungsgeschichte nachgezeichnet, die stark durch einen politischen Anspruch geprägt ist. Das gleichberechtigte Miteinander der unterschiedlichen Forschungspartner/innen und die Analyse der Machtstrukturen stellen zentrale Elemente dar. Die Eröffnung eines kommunikativen Raumes, in dem Perspektivenverschränkung und Selbstreflexion möglich sind, wird daher als Ort der gemeinsamen Forschung angestrebt. Dafür ist es auch notwendig, die Kontextbedingungen der Forschung kontinuierlich zu reflektieren. Sowohl Datenerhebung als auch Datenauswertung sollen im Idealfall gemeinsam stattfinden. In diesem Rahmen kann sich dann ein spiralförmiger Forschungsprozess entwickeln, der so lange fortgesetzt wird, bis ein für alle Teilnehmenden befriedigendes Ergebnis erreicht ist.
