8. Intrazerebrale Blutung – Ursachen, Diagnostik, Therapie

Zusammenfassung

Die intrazerebrale Blutung (ICB) macht nur ca. 10–15 % aller Schlaganfälle aus, ist aber für rund ein Viertel der schweren Schlaganfälle verantwortlich. Dies verdeutlicht die schlechte Prognose dieser Erkrankung, die mit einer erheblich höheren Mortalität und Morbidität im Vergleich zum ischämischen Schlaganfall vergesellschaftet ist. Trotz jahrzehntelanger intensiver Forschung mangelt es nach wie vor an einer durch solide Evidenz gestützten Therapie der ICB. In den vergangenen Jahren konnten jedoch viele Erkenntnisse bezüglich der pathophysiologischen Mechanismen dieser Schlaganfallform gewonnen werden, welche bei der Entwicklung neuer Behandlungsstrategien hilfreich sind.
