Hypothermie nach Reanimation

Zusammenfassung

Die therapeutische Hypothermie ist bislang das einzige erwiesenermaßen effektive Therapieprinzip zur neuronalen Protektion nach Herz-Kreislauf-Stillstand mit Wiederherstellung eines spontanen Kreislaufs. Durch den frühen Einsatz der therapeutischen Hypothermie kann eine Verbesserung von Überleben und neuronaler Funktion dieser Patientengruppe erreicht werden. Zur Durchführung stehen verschiedene Verfahren zur Verfügung. Für den präklinischen Einsatz sind Oberflächenkühlsysteme und die Applikation von  + 4°C kalter Infusionslösung erfolgreich erprobt worden. Die vorliegende Arbeit bietet einen Überblick über den aktuellen Wissensstand der präklinischen therapeutischen Hypothermie nach Herz-Kreislauf-Stillstand sowie praktische Anleitungen für die Durchführung.
