Gehgeschwindigkeit bei älteren Patienten im Ganganalysesystem und 10-Meter-Gehtest

Ein Vergleich

Hintergrund

Gangstörungen sind bei älteren Menschen häufig. Sie beeinträchtigen die Lebensqualität und erhöhen das Sturzrisiko. Um bei älteren Patienten Mobilität und Sturzrisiko zu beurteilen, wird häufig das Gangtempo erhoben. Mit Ganganalysesystemen werden zusätzliche Gangparameter quantifiziert.

Material und Methoden

Die vorliegende Untersuchung beschäftigte sich mit der Frage, ob ältere Patienten (n = 66) ihr Gangtempo verändern, wenn sie im Vergleich zu einem 10-Meter-Gehtest auf einer Ganganalysedruckmessplatte gemessen werden. Zusätzlich wurden Gangparameter und klinische Tests (TUG, POMA) auf Unterschiede zwischen den Teilnehmern mit (n = 27) und ohne (n = 39) Sturzanamnese untersucht.

Ergebnisse

Nach Auswertung der Ergebnisse zeigte sich ein signifikanter Unterschied im Gangtempo bei den Gestürzten, nicht aber bei den Teilnehmern ohne Sturzanamnese. Auch bei den anderen Gangparametern sowie bei den klinischen Tests konnten signifikante Unterschiede zwischen den Gruppen der Gestürzten und Nichtgestürzten gemessen werden.

Diskussion

Eine mögliche Erklärung könnte die visuelle Ablenkung durch die Testumgebung sein, welche im Sinne eines Dual-Task-Paradigmas bei den Teilnehmern mit vermehrten Mobilitätsproblemen das Gangtempo beeinflusste.
