Zusammenfassung

Gastrointestinale Malformationen und Bauchwanddefekte sind in der Regel sonographisch gut erkennbar, allerdings zeigen sich Obstruktionen im Gastrointestinaltrakt oft erst am Ende des 2. bzw. im 3. Trimenon. Alle Hohlorgane des fetalen Abdomens (Magen, Gallenblase, Dünn- und Dickdarm, Harnblase, Nierenbeckenkelchsystem) sollten aufgrund einer möglichen Dynamik der Veränderungen immer mehrzeitig untersucht werden. Dem Ausschluss bzw. Nachweis von Begleitfehlbildungen und Chromosomenaberrationen kommt entscheidende Bedeutung für die Prognose zu. Durch die Optimierung des prä- und perinatalen Managements (sonographische Kontrolluntersuchungen in der Schwangerschaft zur Erkennung von fetalen Notsituationen, optimale Wahl des Entbindungszeitpunkts, -orts und -modus) kann die Prognose der Kinder deutlich verbessert werden.
