Zusammenfassung

Die pränatale Infektionsdiagnostik profitiert von dem kombinierten Einsatz von fetaler Bildgebung und serologisch- molekularbiologischen Befunden. Bei spezifischem Erreger- oder Infektionsnachweis kommen sowohl bewährte als auch zum Teil noch experimentelle pränatale Therapiestrategien zum Einsatz. Dank Kenntnis der unterschiedlichen Sensitivitäten und Spezifitäten der jeweiligen Labornachweismethoden (Nukleinsäureamplifikationstechnik (NAT), Viruskultur etc.) aus mütterlichem Blut, Fruchtwasser, fetalen Ergüssen oder Fetalblut können den werdenden Eltern risikoadaptierte individuelle Diagnose- und Therapiemaßnahmen angeboten werden.
