Zusammenfassung

Die Beurteilung des Feten im ersten Trimenon fokussierte lange Zeit auf die Detektion von Trisomien. Durch die wachsende Erfahrung in der anatomischen Untersuchung im Zeitfenster 11+0 bis 13+6 SSW und die zunehmend bessere Auflösung der Ultraschallgeräte verschiebt sich der Schwerpunkt der Ersttrimesteruntersuchung zu einer ganzheitlichen Beurteilung der fetalen Anatomie. Insbesondere im Zeitalter der diagnostischen Möglichkeiten der zellfreien plazentaren DNA aus maternalem Blut ist eine Weiterentwicklung des Ersttrimesterultraschalls von einer Nackentransparenzmessung zu einer weitreichenden strukturellen Gesamtbeurteilung zu erwarten.
