Einsatz der intraaortalen Ballonpumpe bei Patienten mit kardiogenem Schock

Zusammenfassung

Die intraaortale Ballonpumpe (IABP) führt zu einer Verbesserung der Hämodynamik bei Patienten mit kardiogenem Schock. Nach der derzeitigen Datenlage ist eine Anwendung bei Patienten ohne frühzeitige perkutane Koronarintervention (PCI) oder geplante operative Revaskularization sowie bei Patienten mit mechanischen Komplikationen des akuten Herzinfarkts zu empfehlen. Sie sollte möglichst frühzeitig erfolgen. Inwieweit eine generelle Anwendung der IABP bei frühzeitiger primärer PCI sinnvoll ist, wird derzeit in der IABP-Shock-II-Studie geprüft.
