12. Duale Leitung einer Intensivstation –Interprofessionell Führen und Gestalten

Zusammenfassung

Die Betreuung von Patienten mit komplexen Erkrankungen sowie deren Angehörigen erfordert die enge Kooperation aller an der Versorgung dieser Patienten beteiligten Professionen. Dabei stehen die Professionen im Praxisalltag nicht selten in einem Spannungs-, Konkurrenz- oder Abhängigkeitsverhältnis zueinander, das oftmals aus dem Fehlen einer klaren Definition der Aufgaben und Verantwortlichkeiten der Akteure resultiert. Die Praxis weist für die Beteiligten zahlreiche Schnittstellen auf, die interprofessionelle Perspektiven auf eine Verbesserung in der Zusammenarbeit eröffnen. International wird die Notwendigkeit der Etablierung interprofessioneller Konzepte zur Verbesserung der Zusammenarbeit der Berufsgruppen in der Medizin als eine bedeutende Herausforderung zur Optimierung der Patientenversorgung betrachtet. Interdisziplinäre Abteilungen und Versorgungsszenarien stehen dabei im Mittelpunkt des Interesses. Ziele sind vorrangig die Betrachtung der beteiligten Professionen mit ihren spezifischen Rollen, die Anpassung organisationaler Prozesse wie z. B. die Verbesserung der Kommunikation sowie die Förderung berufsübergreifender Entscheidungsfindungen in der Patientenversorgung. In diesem Kapitel soll ein Überblick über Herausforderungen an die interprofessionelle Zusammenarbeit in Intensivstationen, die sich durch hochkomplexe Arbeitsabläufe auszeichnen, gegeben werden. Dabei wird auch auf die Option einer geteilten Führung im Sinne einer dualen Leitung zwischen Ärzten und Pflegenden eingegangen.
