Prevention works

Ruth Williams Freelance writer

Diane Singleton was a district nurse before becoming lead nurse for older people at Liverpool Community Health NHS Trust in 2001. She spent 11 years developing the Liveability service, which aims to increase older people’s physical fitness and independence, and recently won the Claire Rayner patient’s choice award 2012. She spoke to Ruth Williams
