Der Faktor Mensch in der Akutmedizin

Zusammenfassung

Immer noch werden Mediziner, Pflegekräfte und Rettungsassistenten viel zu selten oder gar nicht im Bereich der sog. „Human Factors“ ausgebildet, obwohl etwa 70% der Ursachen von Zwischenfällen auf Defizite in diesem Sektor zurückzuführen sind. Inzwischen existieren bewährte Konzepte zu Ausbildung und Training in „Human Factors“ und „Crisis Resource Management“ (CRM), insbesondere ein CRM-basiertes Simulations-Team-Training mit videogestützten Nachbesprechungen erweist sich als sehr effektiv und nachhaltig. Aber auch Konzepte, wie die Erhöhung der Sicherheitskultur und die Einführung nichtpunitiver Incident-Reporting-Systeme sind wichtiger Bestandteil für die nachhaltige Erhöhung der Patientensicherheit in der Zukunft. Dieser Artikel gibt einen Überblick über Ursachen und Konzepte, vor allem im Bereich des CRM-Trainings. Solche Trainingsmaßnahmen werden noch nicht für alle Mitarbeiter und auch nicht regelmäßig angeboten. Es gibt also viel zu tun! Aber es ergeben sich dadurch auch große Chancen, zu den Pionieren zu gehören. Es gilt, sich dafür einzusetzen, dass das CRM-Simulations-Team-Training so selbstverständlich zur regelmäßigen Ausbildung in der Akutmedizin gehört, wie es in anderen Hochrisikobereichen wie der Luftfahrt schon seit Jahrzehnten der Fall ist.
