Zusammenfassung

Inzidenz und Prävalenz der chronischen Herzinsuffizienz nehmen mit dem Alter zu. In der im August 2017 erschienenen 2. Auflage der Nationalen VersorgungsLeitlinie „Chronische Herzinsuffizienz“ werden geriatrische Aspekte gezielt adressiert. Der Beitrag gibt einen Überblick über die Empfehlungen der Leitlinie zu medikamentöser, apparativer und operativer Therapie sowie zur Koordination der Versorgung mit dem Fokus auf älteren und multimorbiden Patienten.
