Zusammenfassung

In diesem Kapitel werden die wesentlichen Bausteine der Therapie von Essstörungen, insbesondere der Anorexia nervosa, beschrieben. Der Leser wird über die somatische Behandlung und Ernährungstherapie, wesentliche Prinzipien der individuellen Psychotherapie in der Adoleszenz, Möglichkeiten der Gruppentherapie und der Psychoedukation, familienbasierte Therapieformen sowie die Behandlung der Komorbidität ausführlich informiert. Der Aufbau des Gruppenpsychoedukationsprogramms für Eltern kann genauer nachgelesen werden. Die medikamentöse Behandlung von Essstörungen einschl. neuer Ergebnisse zur Prophylaxe der Osteoporose durch Hormontherapie wird kritisch diskutiert. Die besonderen Bedingungen einer stationären Behandlung von Kindern und Jugendlichen sowie neue Ergebnisse zur Indikation für eine tagesklinische Behandlung werden ebenfalls dargestellt.
