40. Anorexia nervosa aus ernährungstherapeutischer Perspektive

Zusammenfassung

Bislang basieren die gängigen ernährungstherapeutischen Praktiken für die Wiederernährung von Patientinnen mit Anorexia nervosa (AN) auf subjektiv unterschiedlichen Erfahrungen und Strategien, ohne wissenschaftlich abgesichert zu sein. Eine zu schnelle Gewichtszunahme bei stark mangelernährten Patientinnen kann ein „Refeeding Syndrom“ mit lebensbedrohlichen Folgen hervorrufen. Andererseits weisen einige AN-Patientinnen im Laufe der Therapie einen überproportional hohen Energiebedarf von über 3000 kcal/Tag auf. Möglicherweise sind hierfür auch endogene regulatorische und gegenregulatorische biologische Mechanismen verantwortlich. Ein profunderes Verständnis von pathophysiologischen Veränderungen des Energie- und Substratstoffwechsels bei AN könnte zukünftig zur Optimierung der Ernährungstherapie beitragen.
