Zusammenfassung

Theorien zur Verursachung des Stotterns werden erläutert. Dabei wird unterschieden zwischen solchen zur Ätiologie und zur Pathophysiologie. Eine Unterteilung in Theorien als neurotische Reaktion, Lerntheorien und Breakdown-Theorien wird vorgenommen. Abschließend werden multikausale und multifaktorielle Theorien beschrieben und es wird ein Resümee gezogen.
